HSBC App Security concerns


Security update
We are upgrading our security to ensure your mobile banking remains simple, safe and secure.
You'll need to set up your mobile banking PIN again on the next screen.
I know that they are currently updating their app at present but I never received anything to confirm that I will have to update mobile banking PIN.
Anyone had similar?

Your caution is understandable. If the message was generated by the app once you had logged in (PIN? Fingerprint?) then there is unlikely to be an issue.
Worth a phone call to HSBC I'd say.0 -
