Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers, enjoy your day.
More good weather, I've been searching for washing! I could get used to the good weather and perfect drying conditions, it's lovely to take everything off the line and put it away.
Once home yesterday I cleared up the front driveway - leaves and rubbish seem to blow along the road and get caught in the hedge so another big bag for the bin - I have been taking rubbish into the work bins as mine is already full and I refuse to pay for a permit for garden waste.
Hope everyone is well and you have a good day. Take care. XX13 -
Morning all, sunny here in Kent. Off to Rye this morning, haven’t been for years, so will be lovely to revisit, it’s such a pretty town
Have a good day allCarolbee14 -
Morning folks, thanks GERS and enjoy your away day. Another glorious start here as well, and the sun is forecast to last all day.
I enjoyed my Skipton day yesterday, as always, it felt lovely and warm in the sunshine (but the usual chilly breeze blowing out of it!) Apart from our lunch and bottle it was a frugal day for us both with very little other spending done .It was busy out and about so I guess the coach trips are resuming again.
Today is a stay home day after a busy week of coming and going, so I had better tackle a few household chores I suppose. The vacuum I ordered for the caravan is due for delivery today but I have yet to get a time confirmed. This afternoon I may find myself sitting out in the sunshine. It would be a shame to waste it after all the gloomy months we have had. Have a good day if you can folks, ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Morning all
Lovely day in the making although still chilly, Rob is coming today and we are off to work, yesterday he was quite challenging in his behaviour- there is a chap at the home who also has issues with behaviour and I think Rob is copying him, I made it very clear to him that this was not ok so I hope today is better.
Dinner tonight will be bacon egg and chips nice and easy dd is off today so she will probably cook, no washing to do this morning it seems a shame not to hang anything out.
Our new garden table got delivered yesterday so OH will put that and the gazebo up at the weekend they are both in the conservatory atm and taking up a lot of space.
Gers enjoy your day xx
Have good days all and take care xx13 -
Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers enjoy your day
Lovely and sunny, going on the walk this morning.
Yesterday was bright but the wind was so cold, but I managed to put a lightweight rose arch together ready for the sweet peas.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.12 -
Morning all, thanks for the start @Gers, enjoy your day out. Once again it's sunshine all the way, if only that breeze would warm up a bit ..... Like others, I'm scrabbling around to find enough washing to make up a full load. It isn't often we have such good drying days and it's a shame to waste them.
Yesterday was rather uneventful, just the usual day to day stuff and a trip to the Co-op for a couple of things including a tin of baked beans for the bargain price of 15p (Aldi price match of 40p minus a 25p member MOC). I didn't really need a tin of beans right now but at that price I wasn't going to ignore it! Book returned on the way back and none borrowed, another win. Once home I did a final sort through the yarn stash and have bagged up the remainder of what I won't use to go to the CS. It's been a real slog to get to the position of knowing I have only what will definitely get used so I'm giving myself a virtual pat on the back.
Today's highlight is a visit to the hairdresser, much needed as it's getting very "sprouty" even though it's been only 8 weeks since my last visit. After that I'll continue with some paper sorting and shredding, another seemingly never-ending task despite most things being electronic nowadays. The goal is to have just one folder instead of too many - I think I'm nearly there. I've no idea what's for tea tonight as this week's meal plan hasn't gone to plan at all - a use-it-up meal of odds and ends might be a good idea.
Now it's time for another cuppa then I'll be ready to face the day. Take care, hugs available where needed or wanted, enjoy your day. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.13 -
Morning all! I had a very spendy day on Tuesday, bought my self lots of garden goodies, now I just have to completely rearrange the garden to place them all...The jab knocked me out completely yesterday, I was asleep for a couple of hours in the day and then couldn't get going at all, but I did discover my favourite chateau DIY programme is back on so I watched one of those. Have to find something to eat for tonight, it might just be leeks and rice for something really easy, because there's a tip run to do this afternoon. OH has already helped to fill the car yesterday so I'll do another idiot check later because there's usually something I forget to take.Have a fab day Gers! Ruby, well done for setting boundaries
Rosay, sounds like fun, apart from the unable to comes..SO, is it a fancy one or a plain one? I put some up with bits of wire mesh up for my beans at the allotment but they are completely plain. TA, just sit in the sunshine, housewor can always wait
Chris, was your loaf a write off or did you manage ot save it? Take care all today, enjoy the sunshine while it's here..

Good morning all, enjoy your trip Gers.
Another bright start, yesterday was sunny but very windy.
Our next door neighbour was knocking on the door early this morning, unusual as we always text. His wife was taken ill in the night and had managed to get a doctor's appointment for 9am. Could one of us take them (they no longer drive). Dh volunteered. He's not back yet so I hope everything's ok.
Gammon egg and chips for dinner tonight.
Yorkslass, I keep trying to have the talk with Dh but he point blank refuses to discuss it. I have told dd what my wishes are when I'm no longer here.
Have a good day all and hugs to anyone who needs them. Take care.10 -
Morning , lovely again.Off to the tip shortly. A load of bags went to CS yesterday but some stuff needs to go to their bigger one which is handily nearby. DH has just gone to check on DS working nearby to see if he needs anything.Apart from that not a lot going on apart from the ongoing jobs in the house. The new carpet is being fitted on Monday.I think it'll be a simple tea tonight.Hope you all get your washing dry!:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
