ICICI User iD expired

I opened an account with ICICI back in April 2007 with just £1 . After the account was opened I tried to transfer £25k but their system kept coming up with error messages . They took a while to give me a non-committal reply so I decided not to invest for a while . Today I went to logon and received an error message saying my User iD had expired ? Anyone else had this problem ? Thanks in advance .

IIRC, they aren't supposed to expire login credentials until 12 months of inactivity. Surprisingly, many people reporting errors logging in visit the wrong ICICI website. Are you sure you are going to the correct .co.uk site?

I'm using http://www.icicibank.co.uk/ I've sent them an email but I don't expect an answer for a while .

Just received this reply which may be of interest to other investors . "Incase you do not login to your HiSAVE account for 180 days, then your user ID gets expired which has to be activated by the issue of a new Internet Banking Password. Hence, we have reset your password. You will receive the password within 10 working days at your communication address."

Just for interest ICICI bank posted me a new password which I received yesterday , 09.01.08 . All now working .
