Annoying squeak - floorboard on radiator

Options
Hi all,

Living in a newish build townhouse I once had many of my floorboards screwed down as there were squeaks everywhere. Most of them were resolved. The bloke said Redrow only nailed the floorboards down so the nails come loose over time and squeak.

However, there is one annoying squeak which he couldn't fix. It's from the top (2nd floor) bedroom. And the sound of it travels all the way down the house to the ground floor.

As far as I can guess, it's coming from under a window where there is a radiator. I believe (could be wrong) that the radiator pipes travel the noise down the floors via the radiator pipes?

Just wondering if anyone has had similar and whether there's a way of fixing it? Or whether it just a case of ignoring it?

Here's the piping of the radiators in the rooms. They go into the walls:

Squeak when you walk around or when CH is on?
If the pipe goes straight down the wall to the first floor, I don't see how it can transfer any sound produced by floorboards. If it goes to the floor/ceiling void, I don't see how it can transfer the sound down.
Regardless, you have to find the source of the sound in the first place.

Very much a walking around squeak. Not connected at all to the heating being on.
