Another halifax cashback chance

Was discussed about transfer money in and out from bookies a/c using the halifax cashback account. However, there are still lots doubts.

Today, an idean came across to me. Using the debit card to purchase premium bond on the NS&I website or over the phone. I think the purchase would be done as purchase, once the bond come though the post. We can cash them when we want to .

Any idea about this?

The amount of time between the issue of, and you receiving cleared funds upon selling them, would surely be more in terms of lost interest than you would gain in cashback.

Also, I'm 99% sure that premium bonds - being investments - don't even qualify for the Halifax cashback, so you're stumped.

Let's face it when Halifax devised the 'moneyback' concept they had plenty of opportuity to tweak the product to favour them - which means cashback with heaps of 'exclusions'. I get cashback from smile credit card [even Halifax One, come to think of it!] for paying my council tax, but I don't think you'd get any 'moneyback' from Halifax bank account that way [I might be wrong?]
