Help! £170 fine for "Not Parked Wholly Within Bay" (Debt Recovery Plus)

Hi,
Hope someone can help, we have been away and returned to find a bill for £170 for 'Not parking wholly within bay' - I can't remember how I parked in January, so let's assume it happened.
The letter (attached) states I've received 2 previous letters but that isn't true, this is the first correspondence from them.
We've missed the deadline date as we were away.
What can we do? Quite concerned by this!

Ignore DRP LTD , powerless debt collectors, see post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum2

This is not a fine. It is an inflated invoice for breach of contract.
You are past the point of any appeal which would have been futile in any case. You can ignore Debt Recovery Plus (or Don't Reply, Powerless as I like to call them).
Let UK Car Park Management know if you move within the next 6 years but otherwise just wait for a Letter of Claim.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

The 4th post of the NEWBIES thread begs posters to not post about these letters. Please read it.
I've no idea why you are concerned about that daft threatogram, except it tells us that you haven't yet read nor looked at the pics in the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread?
Assume you aren't in Scotland?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
Is your V5C up-to-date with your current address? That is the usual reason for non-receipt of the original PCN but then the debt collection agencies use a tracing agency to find you.1
