Bravia KD50X75WL updated this morning, now every 5 minutes says a USB device has been inserted!

It's had this USB stick connected for the last 6 month without a problem.
I've restarted the TV, no change.
I've removed the stick, restarted the TV, reconnected the stick, no change.
I've done the above with 2 different sticks, same result.
I've tried the other USB port (there are 2), no change.

Can anyone suggest anything else apart from a full reset?  It took a while to tweak it the way we like it!

    Have you gone into settings to turn off USB mode I think it's under developer options

    I'll give that a go.  Am I right, getting into developer options is the same as getting there on a phone?

    Sort of similar but you're using the remote to switch off the USB option in the device section.  It can be tucked away in the sub menu or they use a different name depending where the TV was made.  You should also check YouTube for options
