Do I need a new loo?

I attach a photo of damage to the toilet bowl. It started smaller then the ‘halo’ round the deeper chips got bigger but now seems to have stabilised.
Do I need to replace it? Is it worth trying to repair (not at all sure that I am sufficiently competent). Your collective wisdom would be enormously helpful.

If it doesn't leak, then it's up to you to decide whether you can live with it or not.
Repairing it neatly is next to impossible, but you can try some epoxy putty and some kit for acrylic bath repair.1 -
If you are bothered about how it looks, then it does need replacing, a DIY repair will probably look naff. As above, if you can live with it, don't worry about it.1

How old is the pan ?Looks like a manufacturing defect, and you might be able to get a replacement under warranty. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Ta everyone. I can live with it! I’m guessing the toilet is about 10 or 11 years old - installed by previous owner- so no chance of a warranty. I have no idea what caused the chip, I certainly didn’t drop anything on it, and I doubt any of my visiting friends did. It just suddenly appeared..0
