Conned by a Car Check

I recently fell for this as well. Thankfully my bank blocked the £39.90 payment as it had been flagged up as a subscription trap. Well done Santander. I emailed the company who  replied in a polite manner to say they would cancel the subscription. They seemed to give up  after realising they couldn't just quickly get the money. And for those saying that the subscription service is as "clear as day" it is definitely NOT as clear on a mobile phone. And when you are at a used car forecourt and quickly need a car report and don't have time to scroll through pages of terms and conditions it is even less so!

Never rush... You have plenty of time to look at a car & do things like this. Being rushed by sales person. Then walk away..
