Terms and Conditions – 1-Hour Private RIB Trip Competition

1. Eligibility: The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over. This experience is not suitable for pregnant individuals or those with back, neck, or mobility issues.

2. Prize Details: The prize consists of a private 1-hour RIB trip for up to 12 people. The trip will depart from Hawes Pier, South Queensferry. The route will be determined by the skipper on the day, subject to weather and sea conditions.

3. Booking and Availability: The prize must be redeemed within six months of the winner being notified. The trip is subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Certain peak periods may be excluded.

4. Weather and Safety: The trip is weather-dependent. If adverse conditions prevent the trip from taking place on the scheduled date, an alternative date will be offered. The skipper’s decision on safety and suitability of conditions is final. All passengers must adhere to the safety briefing and wear the provided life vests.

5. Non-Transferable & No Cash Alternative: The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

6. Changes and Cancellations: If the winner is unable to attend, they must notify Maid of the Forth at least 48 hours in advance. Rebooking is subject to availability.

7. Liability: Maid of the Forth is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the trip, except where required by law.

8. Acceptance of Terms: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. Maid of the Forth reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
