Good morning Gers, and all to follow, thanks for starting.
It's a lovely morning here. Yesterday was a fine day as well.
We had a nice lunch out with ds & co, didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day.
Not much happening today, just the usual jobs.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day today, take care folks.

Thanks for the start Gers
Lovely day again though chilly at the moment . Yesterday consisted of dog walking, a trip into the loft of doom!, car washing , lawn mowing and cooking. Today I’m at work for a rest! Then this evening more busy-ness as of in holiday in the campervan tomorrow until Easter.Hope everyone had a lovely weekend - weather forecast is looking great for the coming week in most places (fingers crossed).AA16 -
Morning allLooks lovely and sunny out there.Off to the garden centre later to have a look round but want to buy a lavender plant for the pot by the back door. The one I've had for years has given up the ghost at last so want a new one otherwise the bees will be disapponted!Popping into the supermarket nearby afterwards as I've had a request from my DS for a cheese and bacon loaf to be made in the breadmaker. Will see if they've got anything interesting in the yellow sticker department tooHave a good day all x14

Morning GERS and all to follow. A nippy start here but sun is forecast for the whole day and at last that blooming wind looks to have dropped. I have put the heating on for a short while to warm the place up a bit.
I got back from my w/e at the caravan yesterday afternoon absolutely shattered and fell asleep for a couple of hours on the sofa! I was glad we didn't have any close caravan neighbours in residence as the early Mother's Day get together on Saturday night proved a very noisy and late one. Too much food and wine got consumed and it ended up a very late and noisy night as we got playing silly games amid much hilarity. Eight women and 2 young teenagers, surprisingly the latter being the quietist!
I think today will be a slothful one. Just a bit of washing to do and then an internet search for a new vacuum as the one that lives at the caravan has decided to stop working and we were down on our knees with dustpan and brush before we left yesterday. I'll have a look to see if Direct Vacuums have anything to tempt me.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"14 -
Morning all
Looks to be a nice day here although a bit chilly this morning, yesterday was lovely too until about 6 and then the temps dropped suddenly so we had a small fire to warm the lounge.
Rob coming today and we are meeting our friends and going to a lambing farm which they should enjoy we are taking packed lunch but will get a cuppa in the cafe.
Dinner tonight is roast dinner again so it will just need heating through I’m sure dd will do it as she is off today. She bought me a lovely jug which I had been eying up in a shop it’s in the shape of a lemon and will be perfect for summer time she also made us a mini egg cheesecake which was delicious.
We booked our flights for Albania yesterday and think we have chosen the hotel but will have another quick look today, we think we will have four days there and then back to Corfu for three days before coming home.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning again - when I woke at 5.30a.m. it was still dark outside so I closed my eyes again and slept for another hour. Whilst it's now getting light the weather is grey and damp. Fingers crossed for the promised good weather to crawl in.I've been listening to a podcast called 'what I did yesterday', a bit similar to here! My report would be very dull indeed after a cold and wet day. I watched too much of a TV programme called 'Laughing out Loud' (Last One Laughing) in which comedians try to not laugh whilst being sorely tried by each other. The winner was inevitable though seeing them all struggle to contain themselves was entertaining. This morning I'm going to my exercise class then heading off down to Darlington to visit my closest friends and handover the haul of kitchen gadgets to their daughter for her new house. It'll be a long drive, about five hours I reckon, so the car is stocked up with water and nibbles.I hope that everyone has a good day, getting better or winning the struggle. Hugs to all.

Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers have a good trip.
As expected I didn't hear from anyone yesterday. I had a look around a couple of shops, only bought chicken, biscuits and bananas.
It's bright and sunny so I'll try and do a few bits in the garden.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.12 -
Morning! Sunny again! All jobs done yesterday and OH even came and looked at the allotment...only because he was comparing sizes with his friends garden, which is twice the size, width wise and has another bit again around the side. We ended up ordering a chines after the film because I couldn't be botherd ot cook before or after it. I must try harder today though...Not much today, cut up a couple of small trees I cut down yesterday, maybe allotment to make the pea structure, take and fetch OH from work, his hands are much better but will split and crack again if h uses them too much, and find something in the freezer for food tonight.Gers, do you mean Last One Laughing? We binged that, very funny. So funny we had a look at all the other countries who did it and decided, no, every other country definitely has a different sense of humour that is alien. Even Canada with Colin Mockery who slays on Whose Line...TA, sounds like a good time was had, it's nice to let your hair down a bit sometimes! Ruby, sounds like a lovely day to come, enjoy! Allie, enjoy your long haul holiday
Rosy, good to hear your DHs knee is better. dp1, and that you#ve identified why yours went pouf...Scarlet, hope your DH is doing well....Hope everyone had a good weekend....

I tried the Irish version but soon switched off when the green man with the puppet came on.
So sad that Richard Chamberlain has died. Dr Kildare was a staple for my DMum.

Morning everyone
It's forecast to be a lovely week here - I hope it's right.
I had a lazy afternoon yesterday with a nice long chat with eldest DD in Germany and then little one phoned for a chat too.
My knee is still very painful, still like toothache , taking ibuprofen takes the edge off but if anyone has any tips please share them. I'm worried as it's only 2 weeks till I go on holiday and at the minute I don't know how I'm going to sit on a plane for 4 hours.
Right I'm going to get straight on with my jobs this morning, then I can sit in the sun when I come home this afternoon.
I hope you all have a good day xx10
