Mk4 Prius, do I need to continue taking it to the main dealer or shall I use a local independent?

Purchased a gen 4 Prius last year with full main dealer history.
Do I need to take the car to the main Toyota dealer? They have equipment that can test the condition of the hybrid battery which presumably a local independent can’t do. Is there anything else I should know about?
I’d prefer to take to my local specialist garage who services my other vehicles - they only deal with high performance marques

How old is it and what is the mileage?
If under 10 and 100,000 investigate the Toyota Relax warranty terms.0 -
It’s at 58,000 miles.0

By "Gen4", you mean an XW50 - 2015 to 2022?
Yes, you will definitely save a lot of money over franchise dealer labour rates and parts prices.
Most decent garages will have diagnostic equipment that's perfectly capable of things like battery health.0 -
