I am looking to purchase a property and the transaction history shows as this:
Transaction History
B 2024-05-13 £80,000
A 2020-02-17 £65,000
A 2020-02-17 £65,000
What does the A and B mean? | |||
The current owner (who I am buying from) definitely purchased the property for £65,000 on 17/02/2020. |
So I am confused as to what the other transaction is for £80,000?
Any ideas/help with this greatly appreciated.
TIA

TIAIndicates the type of Price Paid transaction.
A = Standard Price Paid entry, includes single residential property sold for value.
B = Additional Price Paid entry including transfers under a power of sale/repossessions, buy-to-lets (where they can be identified by a Mortgage), transfers to non-private individuals and sales where the property type is classed as ‘Other’.
