Departing 0900 on a Saturday - hotel near Russell Square.
Any recommendations please for breakfast from 0600. Does Premier inn still do breakfast for non-residents ?

Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Depending on what you want, I'd consider something like Le Pain Quotidien in St Pancras station itself, or get something from Pret after you've done security and are waiting for the train.Robin9 said:Departing 0900 on a Saturday - hotel near Russell Square.

You definitely want to eat somewhere before you go in to the departure area. The waiting area for trains I find a bit claustrophobic and it can be quite crowded. I would not go in more than an hour before your train is due to leave. Encouraging passengers to arrive ridiculously early sometimes causes queues, but there are separate lines for particular trains. If time is a bit short staff at the front of the queue will let you through to the line and for your train. It typically takes under 15 minutes to pass through the ticket gates, the scanning machines, UK and French customs.0

Eurostar actually discourages very early arrival, 90mins before and no earlier.martindow said:You definitely want to eat somewhere before you go in to the departure area. There is a Weatherspoons at St. pancras station. It opens at 06:30.

Not sure what time they do food but if you download the app and check out the menu for pricing.0 -
Not on the four out of five times we have taken the Eurostar. We have queued for up to 45 minutes. One trip we were getting seriously worried that we would get on the train.martindow said:It typically takes under 15 minutes to pass through the ticket gates, the scanning machines, UK and French customs.0 -
Does that include the time to get to the ticket gates? If your train is due to leave in under an hour and there is a long queue on the concourse, many of these people will be booked on later trains. At the front of the queue there will be separate entry points for different trains - for trains soon to leave you will go straight to the ticket gates to get you in in time.thegreenone said:
