As a lot of you in the forum know  , I’m now on economy 10 with EDF

they only offer a standard variable tariff for eco 7 or 10 , I’d prefer if I could to be on a fixed tariff…but can’t find any

any help would be appreciated

I think @Ildhund takes an interest in E10 tariffs, they might know something?

Octopus don't list Economy 10 there and I don't think they offer it at all.

I’m ok on what I’ve got now , but I do prefer a fixed one

since I’ve got this smart meter and the E10 , my usage / bill  has dropped , I must have wasted so much money on electricity before , and the 3 hours I get mid afternoon is great as I do the washing / drying then

the tariff price goes up on the 1st though , but I’m prepared 😀

EOn Next AFAIK also only offer the variable rate on E10.

They offer me fixes all the time - but they can be single rate in summer months when E10 marginal even slightly more expensive - and E7 in / if include a lot of heating in mix.  But E7's only cheaper until you shift more into peak - like my 1-2 hrs of heating in afternoon and evening - on my 25 yr old basic NSH.

Thanks for the ping, but I don't think I can help. I had a look at OVO's plans going back a year or two, but I couldn't spot a single fixed-rate tariff for Economy 10. I think they have bent their billing software almost to breaking point in order to accommodate RTS refugees on complex plans like THTC, Superdeal and so on, by offering E10 (and E9 in Scotland) as a reasonable alternative. It seems to work so long as it follows the SVT ('Simpler Energy'). I have a question logged with their commercial people about this, but I don't expect any sort of response until after Easter.

I haven't delved into the undergrowth of other suppliers' tariff forests, so I've no idea what might be lurking there - but I suspect not much.
