Lebara App Registration and Numbet Porting

Good morning, 

Really basic question, I am porting in and out of Lebara (via ASDAmobile) to take advantage of a sim offer that expires today. 

I have activated the new Lebara sim and ported the number to ASDA.

With the new Lebara sim, using the app can I now activate this with the telephone number provided with the new sim and then begin the port back or must I start the port back then activate the app using my ported number.

I would prefer to do the former, assume this is okay and then my ported number would then update in the app after.

Try and get a bit of time between the operations, at the very least 24 hours between submitting PACs. Get the new Lebara SIM up and running and registered. There's no time limit on how long you wait before porting from Asda to Lebara.

As an aside, did you manage to port to the Asda SIM without adding credit to it?

Thank you, yes should have been more organised.

So get to get the new sim up and running, I have put the new Lebara sim into the the phone and had all the registration messages from them.

Shall I register it on the app now with this temporary number? And then I will port back over the weekend, I assume this would all correct. 

Yes ported to Asda without adding credit.

Yes, you will have to register the temporary number in the app before you can enter the PAC from Asda.

Don't start a port today or over the weekend, porting is Mon-Fri only and takes (usually) 24 hours to complete. If there's a problem it won't get any attention until the next working day.

Understand that you are stuck w/ an Asda SIM without credit so unuseable, up to you if that's bearable until after port, otherwise £5 credit required.
