Received parking fine due to road markings not visible, how should I proceed?

Was parked not using my car in disabled bay, my blue badge was used & time set accordingly. Got out the car saw no lines only gone for 1 hour. Came back to fine on window screen. The car was parked over the box I didn’t see any box.  My argument is no visible line seen on the drivers side only can be seen if you get on the floor( which a bloke did) but I am disabled surely I shouldn’t have to get on the floor or stand in the road to see if there is a box. Is it worth appealing or just pay up?I have pictures.

Depends on who issued the PCN,  the location,  not enough information posted so far

Definitely not a fine unless it was issued by a magistrate

Think must been council bluebottles, just read the paperwork saying parked in loading unloading bay but there is a blue badge sign by the bay. always been used previously with a blue badge. Car behind was displaying blue badge they didn’t get fine they had been there since 7am fine issued 14.30(according to chap in shop.) if you can see the post on the left that’s where the blue badge sign is.

    Probably a council penalty charge

My advice is that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first , thats where the council PN experts are

Seconded. Ask the experts on FTLA forum. Google it. Not MSE.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update they were not very supportive because I redacted the reg number on the ticket. My query is why do ‘they’ need the reg number? It was my elderly mother’s car she wanted me just to pay, so we did & tbh my blood pressure is through the roof anyway. Talking in technical terms was not helpful. Not usual for me to back off a fight, think even though we have paid she is going to write an email to them about the lack of visible lines.

What is the location so we can look on Google Streetview.

You generally cannot park in a goods vehicle loading bay, even with a blue badge.

Because they can then look at all the fine details of the alleged contravention online and also the location/restrictions applicable and not have to depend on a third party (you) to provide information - some of which can be very technical and specialist in nature

    Assume this is the thread:

    https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/pcn-received-by-shropshire-council-whilst-using-blue-badge/

Your reg is on display 24/7 365 - no idea why you seem to be reluctant to provide so expert people can help you
