Even as an existing EDF customer you can get a £50 bung through Topcashback when changing to some of EDF's tariffs.

I have just selected Simply Fixed Direct July 26 through TCB to start on 1st May when Essentials April 25 ends, the £50 appeared as pending in TCB within an hour (it says normally within 1 day).

You cannot change again within 100 days (TCB rules, the cashback is lost) but it is not clear if that is from the tariff start date or order date.

There is no lock-in with EDF though.

TCB say the cashback is payable after 14 weeks.

    Time for more sums!
