I have a pink mini which never connected. I am loathe to mess with my router which does bboth 2.4 and 5 GHz and pink mini only connects if 2.4 GHZ and no 5 GHZ
No need to change your router, as long as 2.4GHz is available the Mini will be happy. It won't care that you also have 5GHz, in fact it won't even know.

Just make sure your phone (or whatever device you use to set up the Mini) is using 2.4GHz when you do so.

Not exactly back from my break, but dipping in and out of the forum.
Given the number for Octopus meter problems and rang today. Octopus are getting expected data from elec SMETS2. They then remotely activated the HAN and asked me to press some buttons on the Gas SMETS2. After a min or two told me that was responding as well.
Told me may take 24-48 hours for data to come through DCC but it looks as though at last got working and communicating SMETS2s
