Hi all, I have received the N180 form in the post and was wondering if there a way for my mum to fill this out online instead as I understand it has to be emailed to the solicitors and court?

Also, if I wanted to defend this case on behalf of my mum, is that an option? Do I have to put that on the form somewhere?

Sorry for the questions and thanks for all your support so far
Please re-read the reply by @Gr1pr in his post immediately before your latest post.

You should be following the guidance in that checklist rather than ask questions that are already answered there.

Hi mate, I have read the 12 steps and Im at the point where I need to fill in N180 form. Do you happen to know where I would find an electronic copy so I can fill it out online or is it a requirement that I have to fill in the hard copy? I don't have a scanner which is why I'm asking.

Apologies if this information is somewhere already or if I'm being a bit of a div

    Many thanks

    Hi all

I've received a 'Notice of allocation to the small claims track' this morning. The court hearing is in person on 14th November.

    It states that the following:

"Unless the claimant does by 4.00pm on the 21 October 2025 pay to the court the trial fee of £27.00 or file a properly completed application (i.e one which provides all the required information in the manner requested) for help with fees, then the claim will be struck out with effect from 21 October 2025 without further order and, unless the court orders otherwise, you will also be liable for the costs which the defendant has incurred"

What fees will I be responsible for? Are they referring to the £27 or additional costs that G24 have incurred? G24 have reached out and are happy to accept the original £60 fine so now I'm thinking is it worth paying it considering the above?

Any help or guidance would be massively appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

No you don't pay anyone a penny.
The fees above are for the claimant

They won't pay the fee; it'll be discontinued this month.

Keep checking your inbox and spam folders in your email account for the N279 discontinuation document from DCB Legal

Its up to the claimant or dcb legal to pay the hearing fee,  not you, you arent paying a penny
