Breakdown Cover?
My breakdown cover with Rescuemycar.com is about to expire, whats good these days? I'm looking at personal cover for cars and bikes. If I'm honest I haven't been too impressed with Rescuemycar recently - left my husband by the side of the road overnight as they 'were too busy'. I have also had really bad experiences with Green Flag and will never rely on them ever again.

I use autoaid which covers all vehicles.
The recently paid £40 promptly for me and my dog to get a taxis as the wait (on a sunday) was going to be long. They authorised 2 taxis (return trip) but my husband decided to stay with the car.
I's not as cheap as it used to be but covers all vehicles for a married couple.
It's an assistance service, so they arrange the rescue/recovery with local companies and don't have their own vehicles like AA/RAC.
They don't quibble e.g. recently we tore off our exhaust on a ramp. They didn't quibble about it being an "accident".1 -
I would recommend Start Rescue. 2 family members had to call them out and they attended very quickly.1

Autoaid looks good using the discount from this MSE guide

The AA. There's a reason they call it the 4th emergency service.0
