Switching solo Chase account into existing NatWest joint

I'm currently trying switch a Chase burner account my existing NatWest joint account and it keeps failing.
After dealing with Chase's frankly rubbish customer services they said it was due to party details not matching. Which would be correct but I am one of the payees on the account so it seems like nonsense.
Anybody come up against this issue?

Due to their system Chase can't currently switch a sole account to a joint account.

I've linked a similar thread discussing the same issue: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6594421/chase-rejected-switch-to-monzo/p1
As above, it's an issue on Chase's end even though sole --> joint switches are allowed as a part of CASS.0
