It Says signature from you and landlord on this part but how do me and landlord both sign if they send me a landlord letter by email for me to upload to confirm my housing details 0 -
Print you landlords signed letter, sign it yourself then take a photo of the document to upload.0

As a tenant you should already have this evidence available.0

'housing costs' as far as the LL is concerned is the rent you pay. I would expect this to be on your tenancy agreement so I can't see why the LL even needs to get involved in your application?1

You have already posted exactly what the letter from the landlord needs to include, it's in your post here under:
"The proof of Housing Costs document must clearly show:"Note that you don't need ALL of those things mentioned in the first part, any one of them will do.
A current Tenancy Agreement is the first choice. (If you have a current TA then that's all you need to show them).
A Landlords/agents letter is the second choice. (If you don't have a current TA you need the LL/agent to confirm what the rent is).
and so on.1 -
Can you simply send the tenancy agreement?JOSHRK94 said:Hi Anyone have a template that can send my landlord so they can do housing costs for uc application so i can upload as not sure what details to tell landlord0 -
If you don't have a tenancy agreement in writing, just ask the LL to write you a very simple letter saying " I confirm JOSHRK94 pays £x rent monthly and the due date is the Yth of the month" that's all the involvement your LL needs0
