Life insurance trustees not following wishes

What can be done, if anything, if the trustees don’t distribute any pay out either to a named beneficiary or, in the case of no beneficiary, in line with wishes stated in a will if there is no separate letter of wishes with the trust deed?

    If the policy is not part of the estate it is not covered by the will.

    It is a statement of wish only.  The trustees must consider it, but do not have to adhere to it if they feel they have good reason not to.
