There is a school of thought that the most economical way to run a heat pump is to keep your house at the same temperature 24/7.  If that's true, then your heat pump will be running all the time and what you want is the lowest single rate tariff you can find.

Im 99% sure that’s not true as off peak heating of hot water for example is cheaper with an off peak tariff but thanks anyway

Octopus Cosy is aimed at heat pumps but may or may not work for you.

Octopus Agile is a more attractive prospect coming into warmer weather, but certainly wasn't during the winter.

I don't know what other suppliers are offering, but anything with off-peak overnight (such as EV tariffs, standard Economy 7) isn't going to be much use as you need the heat pump running in the day.

But you pay more for your peak electricity in order to get an off-peak tariff.  Also, a lot depends on whether you have radiators or underfloor heating.  With radiators if you switch the heat source off for a few hours you are likely to get cold; with UFH you may not notice.  To my mind, tariffs like Octopus Cosy are aimed at heat pumps with UFH.

If you want to run 24/7 with no variation then what you want is something with a low mean rate across the day. This is not necessarily a flat rate.
