Hi
I have just come into a little bit of money - just under £10k and need to invest it. I do not want to take any risks!
Can any one please give me some advice? on what to do
Thanks

There are no totally risk-free investments (with the possible exception of index-linked savings certificates). If you even put the money into a bank you run the risk of inflation eating away at your capital. Can any one please give me some advice? on what to do
If you mean that you don't want to go near the stock market, then consider a good cash ISA followed by a regular saver, a high interest savings account and/or a purchase of some NS&I index-linked savings certificates when they are next issued.
You definitely need to research it well and decide for yourself though.I am a Chartered Financial Planner
