Dividends on holdings held within a SIPP

Just seeking reassurance on this.

Can dividends paid on holdings held within a SIPP account be safely excluded from the total UK or foreign dividend (as appropriate) figures on SA tax return?

Just trying to get my figures together for the 2024/25 self-assessment return and having a moment of doubt.

Yes, assets within pension and ISA wrappers can be ignored for tax purposes.

Yes. You do not have to declare dividends paid within a SIPP on your tax return.
