I would sugest avoiding buying your phone through the mobile provider to save money and to stop the big bill rolling over after the handste has been paid off. Get an interest free for x months credit card, buy the handset from Amazon or wherever and get a SIM card via a comparison site for peanuts. Pay off the handset before the interest kicks in
