Life insurance with mental health issues.

Hello,
I'm trying to find life insurance for myself, but I have mental health issues which I've been upfront with to the insurance companies and brokers, but it seems nobody will insure me.
I have just purchased a house and I would like a small life insurance policy that will cover my mortgage should I pass away.
Are there any companies out there that deal with this?
I don't mind paying a small premium for this cover, like I do with travel insurance.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Do you need insurance? You mention 'I' rather than 'we', if this implies you don't currently have dependents then I would consider if you really need insurance to cover the mortgage if you were no longer around.1

My broker has unfortunately retired but they turned a "you're uninsurable" into a set of quotes with relatively modest price uplifts. A reasonable start would be to look at the ones recommended by Mind https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/guides-to-support-and-services/insurance-cover-and-mental-health/specialist-insurers-for-pre-existing-conditions/ but look at the websites and check if they are a whole of market broker before applying.2 -
I got insurance off legal and general. I applied and was rejected and then applied a year later. I pay double what my husband pays and suicide is not covered. I also have epilepsy so that would increase my premium too.0
