                    Hi All,
Over time me and my wife have gradually swapped cars but we are not officially the main drivers - we are just down as additional drivers on each others policy. In reality now she is the main driver on my car and I am the main driver on her car (she refuses to drive it - too big!) Its time to renew the insurance on her car, do I just declare I am the main driver on her policy and when mine needs renewing do the same - declare her as the main driver on my policy? Will that affect anything?
We both have 20+ years NCD and clean licences so it shouldn't make too much difference.
Thanks

The only trouble may be that some insurers require the main driver to be the one that provides the NCD whereas others require it to be the policyholder. Therefore depending on your choice of insurers you may end up with the same person needing to provide both NCDs and as you can only use an NCD on one policy at a time you'd end up with one vehicle starting from 0 years NCD.1
