Bespoke Blind Fabric not identical to the product sample - Supplier not taking responsibility

I purchased a bespoke blind from Blinds2go. I selected the fabric based on the sample that the firm sent to me. I also opted for an enhanced payable "blackout" feature.
The blind that was sent was made of fabric that was a different shade. I contacted the supplier who are not accepting responsibility. They are saying that the blackout feature changes the colour of the blind. At not time in the sales process was this ever flagged and regrettably I don't think this is the issue. My issue is not with the reverse side where blackout enhancement can be applied. My issue is that the fabric on the front is an entirely different shade.
I have flagged these points to the supplier, sent photos etc to no avail and would be interested in views from a fair consumer rights perspective.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

The problem with samples is that they're quite small, often colour can look quite different when over a larger area - like a whole blind.
What is the difference in colour you're seeing? Darker?0 -

Are you able to share the pictures so that we can see the difference between the sample and final product (I am not totally sure if you can share pictures yet as a new user)?1 -
Can you post a photo of the sample against the blind OP?In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

Sample colour will look different if you block the light from behind. Easy to try & see the effect 👍Life in the slow lane0 -

We have the same type of blind in our hallway on the landing plus a second window adjacent to the bedroom door. The landing window is regular blind while, for the window adjacent to the bedroom door, the blind is blackout type. Other than that, exactly the same type of blind and exactly the same colour. The blind nearest the bedroom door, with the blackout coating, appears darker than the regular blind just on the landing. The blackout blind includes a foil-like coating attached to the rear of the material to achieve the blackout functionality. That means, obviously, there is less light passing through the fabric than the standard blind which does not have the foil-like coating.0 -
Was the sample mounted or just a free square of fabric?
Stopping light passing through it is naturally going to change the colour and make it appear darker. If they are using some form of adhesive to attach the backing that is likely to also change the colour0
