Hi, im currently having an issue with this company. 
I've recently had an agreement in principal declined, upon checking why I found that Jc International placed a default on my account in Feb 2023. 
I've had some contact with them but it's gone quiet for the last three weeks. I have raised a dispute with Trans Union over it.
The frustrating thing is that the original debt is from 2006 and I dont know what it is because I can't contact this company.
The minimal contact ive had with them has confirmed they have my old address on file where i haven't lived for 9 years. 
I think it went into default because they were sending letters to my old address. 
Still waiting to hear from these people.
So annoying.

From what other posters have been saying on other boards, there appears to have been batches of old debts recently purchased by a variety of debt purchasing companies.

They have then proceeded to report on these accounts to the CRA`s, but not actually started any collection activity, even though probably the vast majority of them are way past limitation already.

Best response is a written complaint, and get the FOS involved if you have no joy.
