Morning, just starting off, seems fine and dry.
I'll pop back later.

Back again, yes, it's nice morning here, I might get some washing out.
I spent a bit of yesterday tidying a big cupboard on the landing and decided to get rid of some fleece throws. I think dd is going to take them, if not they'll go to the chazzer.
I went to Dun*Im yesterday, bought some new cushion covers for the sitting room sofa, it's a quick ( and cheap) way of brightening the room up.
Meeting a friend at Dob*ies this morning, then it'll be home for the after
noon.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day, take care folks.13 -
Morning all
Dry here for now we are meant to have some sun later but the sky looks a bit black so we might get rain.
Rob coming today and I am starting slightly longer hours with him it’s just an hour most days but the extra money will come in handy, we are going shopping first thing then meeting our friends for a walk and picnic lunch, he will like seeing his friends as we have not seen them for a couple of weeks.
I ended up making gluten free yorkshires yesterday which were surprisingly tasty OH was thrilled, left over roast for dinner tonight so a nice easy dinner.
I need to have a tidy through and run the hoover over this morning and put a wash on.
Have good days all and take care xx13 -
Morning allA bit cooler this morning and quite misty out there but due to stay dry.We have someone coming this afternoon to look at our bathroom as we want our bath removed and replaced with a shower. I'd like a completre re-vamp of the bathroom but we'll see what type of price he quotes us as to whether we'll go that far.DH is at the hospital this morning to have his catheter removed and be checked over.I'm going to our local DIY store this morning to look at the bathroom section to have a look at the showers etc.Hope everyone has a good day x12

Good morning
Dry and cloudy here, but at least it's mild. I've been awake since 3am going over and over things that I know I can't change, but it didnt stop me. Maybe a nana nap later.
I did do roasties with the pork chops yesterday, made enough to have today also. Will find something in the freezer. Other than that no plans yet for today.
Ruby, how is Robs mum?
Have a good day all, hugs to everyone who needs them. Take care.

Morning all - thanks for starting us off @Scarlet. New cushion covers are ideal for a refresh.Good work @Ruby, a happy hubby is always worth the extra effort.Changing the bath for a shower is perfect @Chrisca. I'd recommend getting the biggest one that can fit in the space as the small square ones are never big enough. The lockdown memories were so interesting yesterday, thanks to all for sharing them.I've been delayed upstairs by watching two female deer happily grazing at the side of the track, it's most unusual for them to be in what is a confined space. They meandered up and down both sides until Mr Farmer began to trundle noisily past, they soon scarpered.
They gave me a joyful few minutes at least.
This morning it's my exercise class in the next village so I've washed my hair under the kitchen tap, then this afternoon I've got a meeting to go to but it won't take long. I've plenty of food in the fridge so can grab something when home.Take care everyone, hugs to all.14 -
Morning all,it's nice and sunny here. I've still not got used to not going out early with pooch, but we are keeping busy. We have decided to give our front room a makeover with a new carpet, ( badly needed) and sofa so they're ordered. We need to do some painting first though.Enjoy your class Gers, hope you find some nice cushion covers Scarlet.DH made our tea last night, his prawn pil pil, made a change from a roast.I planted some of the shake out of a box wildflower seeds in the front garden in the newly dug border, & probably do the same at the back later on the banking, but the soil will need scraping.I tidied and defrosted all 3 freezers, there is lots of space in the chest one now. We are getting a bit short on meat now, so hope the butcher has an enticing pack when he puts his offers on later.Hope you all have some sunshine in your day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. It's a sunny start here but not wall to wall sunshine so we will see how it goes! The sun got out eventually yesterday but the nippy wind was taking the edge off any warmth to it.
Today is a day of promises not to be broken! Hopefully 3rd time lucky for cleaning the windows and 2nd time lucky for sorting the freezer out. It beats me how they get in such turmoil when there is only me using them.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all stay safe xx

Morning everyone
Annoyingly I woke up at 20 past 3 this morning full of cold and with a very dry throat. Hopefully I'll feel a bit better by the time I need to go down to work though I think it will be an early night tonight.
TA - I still haven't cleaned my kitchen window either...maybes today.
The forecast is for a sunny few days here..it will make the afternoons at work nice, children are easy too look after when the sun is shining.
Little one has gone to school for the whole day today, fingers crossed, I hope she manages ok
I have some jobs to do this morning before work, so I'll wish you all a good day x13 -
Morning All
Thought I would catch up from work - there's so much to do I don't know where to start!
Changing cushion covers always makes a big change I think Scarlet.
Hope you feel better dp1.
Happy window cleaning TA!
A new carpet and sofa Rosy? Lovely.
I have a shower upstairs and a bath downstairs Chrisca, not sure I could let the bath go yet!
Such a treat to be able to watch the deer Gers.
Well, the sun is shining and although a bit nippy it's a glorious morning, not a cloud in the sky. Yesterday's gardening clothes are washed and on the line, should be dry when I get home.
I got lots of odd jobs done yesterday and sowed lots of seeds, the kitchen and spare bedroom windowsills are full of seed trays. Also planted the first lot of potatoes at the allotment.
Hugs to the poorlies and those feeling sad. Take care. XX12 -
Morning all
Typically sunny day as I’m stuck at work after a dismal damp one yesterday when I’d got outdoor jobs planned. Managed to shuffle some indoor chores but still feel like I’m playing catch up.The water pipeline work continues and they’re now working 24/7 with tractors up and down our lane. Yesterday they were followed by the road cleaner every 20 mins or so as there was so much mud coming off the fields in the tractor tyres - so noisy!! Will be glad when they finish.AA10
