Observing Euro Car Parks Ltd court hearing tomorrow

Euro Car Parks Ltd have three court cases listed across the country tomorrow. In Nuneaton, St Helens and Sheffield.
The latter is on my regular court beat so, as things stand, I will observe how the legal representative for ECPL opposes what is a set aside application, and the reasons the district judge (a barrister by call) hands down at the hearing's conclusion.
Will let the forum know how it plays out. The defendant's initials are MW, if he is a forum member.

I doubt the other side will send a rep1

May I ask: On what do you base that interesting supposition?ChirpyChicken said:I doubt the other side will send a rep0 -
Because they rarely send a rep to a CCJ set aside hearing. Did you go and watch?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, unfortunately. Having bought train tickets, I was diverted onto another job. Overnight, I asked for remote access to a ECPL case in Leeds this morning. Link not provided. There appears to be, on average, three to four cases per day, across the court estate in England and Wales, involving ECPL and UKPCL. Split roughly, one/two trials, two/three CCJ set asides per day.Coupon-mad said:Because they rarely send a rep to a CCJ set aside hearing. Did you go and watch?2
