Happy New Year to you,
just wanted to find out if German is taught in Welsh schools?
Thinking of boosting my income by offering German lessons or help with revisions.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ok that is good to know.

I am new to Cardiff and don't really know how to get the message across that I could help with revision or teach German.
Any ideas where I could advertise?
    many thanks

In the Welsh secondary schools in Cardiff they teach German and French to alternating years so depending on which year a pupil starts school they have the option of one or the other, but equally (ie French doesn't have preference).

DD in Welsh secondary school. She was offered the choice of German or Spanish in Year 8 as well as still doing French and Welsh. The majority of the children chose Spanish.

How about an advert in the Echo which is centred on Cardiff?

Thanks guys and girls. Look out for the ads on gumtree and netmums! I will go for it and see if anyone is interested.
I am native German, so contact me if you need help for your sons or daughters and yes, please spread the word.
    Thanks
