£57.39 over budget. So the totals for April are as follows
It could have been much worse. I'm sure if I wasn't posting on here that it would have been even higher so at least that's a good thing.
£351.96/£240.
£111.96 over budget!
I'm sure we are going to have to raise our budget. Will work that out and go over to May soon.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy7 -
£8.50 today at The Bread and Butter thing
Very impressed with what we got
Only a few items weren't vegan, so I listed them on Olio and they were snapped up straight away.
All the broccoli we were given was yellow or going mouldy, so it was binned (apart from the stalks, which I've chopped up and frozen).
Will definitely make use of this service againGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. @diminua - thankyou so much, it was the Mascarpone and Lime Torte that we all enjoyed back in the 90s so I've copied the recipe into my notebook to keep it for ever.6

Hi, im not sure if i signed up to this challenge, but im hoping not to spend more than 180 for the month, ive spent 120 pounds so far, so the cupboards are full which hopefully will stop me going to the shops for the next 3 weeks apart from milk and bread. I keep promising myself i will make carrot cake but after a cheesecake disaster not long ago I keep putting it off. I really would like to be able to make cakes that are good enough to eat.... `Current debt approximately 5000
Goal- Zero debt by mid 2025
Savings in 2026- an emergency fund of 50002 -

An impromptu trip to Costco at the weekend sees another £126.78 added to my spends - a lot of it was bulk buys but I’m going to include it all anyway. Managed to get through most of the week with what was in a few random combos and just £2.16 spent on bread & bananas tues. was hoping to push it til tomorrow but ended up in sains today as out of loads of stuff including bread, milk & toilet rolls and the kids were complaining - £45 ish though that does include 10 cartons of Lactose free milk as had a nectar offer for £1 a carton and it was actually in stock. Will need a few more bits over the weekend but hoping to keep spends low - total so far £728.02

£17.98 spent in Heron
7 x Cauldron Tofus @ 79p
6 x Poppets mint choc cookie dough @ 29p
5 x vegan coffee Ben and Jerry's @ £1.50
4 x Birds Eye Green Cuisine sausages @ £1
Haven't been in a long time, as I used to walk there, and now can't. However, my daughter has come to see me; so I managed to make use of her bus card, as she is staying over until tomorrow
My next spend is on Tuesday at the next Bread and Butter thing (if they text to confirm), but after that hopefully, I will only need soya milk; until the next collection on the 20/5.
Really hoping I can bag some wraps off OlioGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. A few small shops over the last few days = another £51.44 to add to my total this does include hay & forage for the rabbits & £15 for our share towards a bbq we were invited to (everyone chips in so much each so the hosts don’t have to cover the full costs) .
Going to need more bread tomorrow and could do some more fresh fruit/veg but if stick to my local express store and avoid the supermarket with Only a couple of days left in this month hopefully I’ll be under £800 for the month.
