Thank you for the new thread, @elsiepac. Hope all is well with you.
Please put me down for £160.
but note that I may amend it if there is any cash left from March. That £160 will cover all supermarket grocery spending, including cleaning products and toiletries, and is for a household of two adults. Our month will run from 1st to 30th.

I'm climbing back on to the wagon having fallen over the side in January due to recurring aches and pains but am really feeling much better this month now that the weather has warmed up a bit.
Please put me down for £150 for the main challenge, £120 Bulk Buy fund and £5 per week for Baking Budget.
That's for one vegetarian woman and covers all food, household necessities and basic toiletries but excludes alcohol and eating out.
Thanks for the thread @elsiepac, hope you're well.
ETA - I forgot to say that this amount is for the calendar month.7 -
Hi,
I used to post here years ago. My circumstances have changed and I need to get my spending under control asap. This is my starting budget, it is lower than what I have been spending, £650 per month, all food and household items for myself and 3 adult children (3 vegans, 1 meat eater.)
Looking forward to all the inspiration and tips from you lovely people.10 -
Know exactly what you mean @Chloris, I used to post here too but bad habits have crept up again. It really does help to post here, it's making a commitment.
This month's budget starts tomorrow, 28th March, with a biggish Tesco delivery. After that I plan to shop once a week in either Aldi or Lidl. I've just paid this month's 'Tesco delivery saver' for £6.99 and I'm seriously thinking of cancelling it. I should stop being loyal to certain shops.Budget for March £300 for the two of us.

Please could you put me down for £600 for the month.
That's to feed 2 adults, 2 teen boys and a tween boy - all meals including takeaways, cleaning and toiletries. Have increased the budget for April due to them being home for over 2 weeks due to Easter. Need to start using up the stores though so I'll try and incorporate that into my meal planGrocery Challenge 2024

Count me in for April...aiming for £100 for the month again. This is split as £50 for 2 hungry cats and £50 food/toiletries/household for 1 adult human woman10

Do you think I may join? I has thought I was quite a savvy shopper but possibly not looking at some of the budgets!
My aim for April is £600. This covers 2 adults (1 veggie) 1 very sporty teen, 1 tween and a very hungry cat and includes groceries, toiletries and cleaning stuff. Also includes 4 packed lunches a day.
There will be one takeaway but this will come out a different pot as we don't routinely have them (only for birthdays and 1st night back after a holiday)Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

Hello everyone,
My thoughts are turning to April's budget. I haven't declared for March yet on the other thread but am going to set the same goal as March for April:-£250 for April - it's a five week month at £50pw.
I want to say a huge THANK YOU for everyone on this thread - it has really helped keep my focus and I love everyone's tips and tricks - really gets me thinking about my food shop in a different way!
£60 for dog food, laundry products, toothpaste and deodorant.
Wishing everyone a smashing weekend when it gets here,
((WM))10
