Sell Similar reverting to Simple delivery

I've created a listing changing the simple delivery to custom postage options.

If I try to list another item using the sell similar option all the postage reverts to simple delivery again.
Is there a workaround for this?

Not that I have found yet.

Strangely though simple delivery is inconsistent , I sold a couple of bits in the week parcel size)  via SD on a relist- they had been hanging around for ages so I thought I'd give them a last chance with SD before taking them to the charity shop and both sold quickly. Both went via Evri which is the cheaper option for the buyer. I just tried to list something  with SD and I don't have any option I can only use my own postage - which is odd, as I want this particular item listed as simple delivery.

It's not a motor home is it?

It's a small set of books, under 1KG , so shouldn't be a problem. It's very odd, I've been playing around a bit with listings today and sometimes I get the option of SD and others I don't, it looks like ebay might be glitchy again (surprise surprise).

So it's got to be a glitch - in fact I have just tried to list some other parcel size items - and can't get simple delivery to show on any of them. it's completely disappeared on my account.
