Well, after the news yesterday that my DD and dgds are coming to visit I came back down to earth this morning with a call from my bf. Her husband was in surgery having a pacemaker fitted in due to his heart failure. We have been friends for over 50 years as we all attended the same school, it just makes you realise we're all getting older. He's now in recovery so awaiting the next update.
DH has taken big dog out for a long walk as I can tell he's shaken by the news. No idea what's for dinner but plenty in.
Have a good day all and hugs to all who need them.
A a busy morning with friends for our usual Sat morning coffee sortie ,found a new to me GC with coffee shop and farm shop .very nice ,but the cafe was noisy and the farm shop prices ! is it just me or do other people find Farm shop prices very expensive . Im sure the quality is v good, but if I amto continue having short breaks and support dgs at uni then they are out of my budget . out to a quiz and curry tonight which will be good . stay safe all
@remmie - I hope it is good news from your BF. It seems to be harder when it is someone close to your own age. My sister had to have a stent in her carotid artery. It unnerved me for some time as she is two years younger than me. Am feeling my age these days. I have a friend at the Family History Center who is 90 and three friends in my Friends of the Library group who are 86 and 87. They give me hope sometimes. Sometimes it just makes me tireder though.
