Unknown payment into Bank Account

I recently had a payment go into my Bank Account of £290 it was a bank credit from SOCC.  I do not know what the payment is for or recognise who it is from.  In the reference it says SOCC.  Can anyone else relate to this? please

Could it be to do with a council tax refund?
SO County Council? 🤷‍♀️

I’m grasping at straws here, as the saying goes 😂

Thank you for the comment.  I did think of that as I am due some money back from them. I will look at my D/D with them.

Wait a few days and see whether a letter or email turns up to explain it.
