Win! An idyllic, two-night weekend B&B escape with a seven-course, estate-led Tasting Menu served on Friday evening, a three-course dinner on Saturday evening and a bottle of wine for two people at gorgeous 300-year old, estate-owned, restaurant and pub with rooms, The Bell at Ramsbury.

Situated in the heart of an idyllic East Wiltshire village, near Marlborough, The Bell at Ramsbury, is a thriving, 300-year old freehouse with spacious bar, restaurant, café and 10 rooms. Owned by the surrounding 19,000 acre Ramsbury Estate, which supplies The Bell with beer, gin and vodka made at its own award-winning Brewery and Distillery and the Estate's Black Gold extra virgin cold pressed rapeseed oil from its own Oil Press. Daily deliveries of freshly picked, seasonal produce come from the estate’s Priory Farm kitchen garden, located two miles from The Bell, plus air dried aged beef from the estate’s herd of South Devon and Aberdeen Angus cattle, water meadow lamb and seasonally available game from the estate’s sustainably managed woodland. Fresh fish deliveries arrive daily from Cornwall.

On its daily changing à la carte, farm-to-fork menus with innovative twists and a range of elevated pub classics, multi-award-winning head chef, James Graham, showcases the estate's abundant, homegrown and seasonally relevant produce with vegetarian and vegan options always available. 

Original architectural features throughout highlight the history and character of the building which is tastefully decorated with real flair. Meals are served in the bar and two adjoining light and airy dining spaces warmed by wood-burning stoves or open fires, in its own Café Bella or outside on the terrace or the adjacent landscaped beer garden. 

The Bell’s 10 very comfortable guest rooms, with six above the pub and four in a converted coach house, are individually decorated in simple, country-chic style with luxurious Hypnos beds, crisp white linens, locally sourced antiques and contemporary touches.
 
Welcoming everyone, including families and dogs, The Bell makes a relaxing and welcoming base for exploring this stunning corner of Wiltshire. Head to the Ramsbury Brewery and Distillery for a tour and tasting or a bespoke gin school experience, go foraging with a local guide, or head out to explore this gorgeous village and along the banks of the River Kennet. Ramsbury is surrounded by incredible scenery of ancient chalk downland and lies close to the famous Ridgeway – described as Britain's oldest road - with archaeological monuments, including Stone Age long barrows, Bronze Age round barrows and Iron Age forts, dotted along its route.

The prize is available for bookings for two people sharing a double room within 12 months of the end of the competition closing date of 30th April2025, excluding 21st December 2025 to 5th January 2026, Easter weekend and all other bank holiday weekends in 2025 and up to 31st March2026.
