ECP - returned to car park (no real choice).

Hi there,
I'll cut the story short and tell you I had to return to a Euro Car Park within a minute or two (and stayed less than a minute).
I know this will incur a charge/notice and if I have to pay so be it, the reason for returning was infinitely more important.
Question I'm asking is should I pre empt things and contact Euro Car Parks or simply wait and see?
Thanks in advance.

If you were socialising and were talking to someone who said he was an assassin currently looking for a "Hinchandrossi", would you say "what a coincidence? That's me!"
And, further, if he replies "how convenient, I'm afraid I neglected to bring my pistol - can you lend me yours for a moment?" would you?
((And in case the parable is unclear, no do not give Euro Car Park the rope they'll try to hang you with.))2 -
True haha. I'll wait. Like I say I HAD to return, doubt that will change their action but hey ho.h2g2 said:If you were socialising and were talking to someone who said he was an assassin currently looking for a "Hinchandrossi", would you say "what a coincidence? That's me!"

Unless they send you a notice to keeper, don't reach out to them.2

But (unless it contravened a 'no return within' rule) they'd have to cancel any PCN.[Deleted User] said:

A double dip isn't a single parking event. If there's not a 'no return within' clause, this would be a double dip ANPR error and you'd NEVER pay it.Retailer will cancel it for you anyway.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thankyou but it did contravene a 'no return within' rule unfortunately.Coupon-mad said:

I had to go back, the potential fine is nothing compared to the alternative. I'll see if I get a notice then I'll ask for more advice.
Really I'm depending on some (dare I say it) common sense and sympathy but there's no money in that is there.0 -
The retailer will cancel it on that basis because they care about consumers.
Don't appeal on that basis though!
