PIP light touch review

Hello and I understand with changes coming nothing is set in stone as such.
I have ongoing PIP award for both components with them saying ‘we’ll contact you after Feb 2026 to make sure you are getting right level. In decision makers reasoning they say - all awards have to be reviewed and as you condition is unlikely to change I have selected the maximum possible review period.
Do you think I will get a light touch review and do they even exist now? Also as there is such a backlog maybe I will come under the November 2026 rules.
i realise this is crystal ball but don’t see any mention of light touch review. (I did get a 4pt for one section daily living)
Thank you

I expect the light touch will continue. If the current plans come into force then there will be a great influx of reassessment requests on by those who didn't get a 4 or more in a category , the backlog will be horrendous.

Until the green paper gets through courts with it's recommended changes unlikely. Everything will continue as is. So don't hold your breath for drastic changes because it's highly likely that most things won't see the light of day or be thrown out.1
