Our caravan needs new tyres and I can get cheaper ones made in China.  Are these any good or should I get some better ones made by established names?
I cannot find any reviews on this.

What is the price difference? If it too good to be true then it probably isn't true

Have you ever seen the damage from a tyre blowout on a caravan? It can be devastating.

The tyres also spend long periods in the same position, unless the caravan is regularly moved.

Over the life of the tyre, it's going to cost pennies per week.

Personally, I would buy a recognised brand.

I'm not terribly worried about the factory location.

But there's some awful junk coming in with semi-random branding slapped all over it. I'd avoid that LIKE THE PLAGUE.
The ridiculous thing is that they're rarely that much cheaper than decent mid-range tyres that ARE worth buying. Especially when you amortise the cost over life.

Caravan tyres have a fairly hard life - they sit around for months on end, often with the weight static. They're often fairly heavily loaded relative to their maximum. They don't need to be checked by Mr MOT. They very rarely wear out, instead going on until their carcasses are UV cracked, often exacerbated by flat-spotting.

    What size and load rating?

Cheap tyres are £50-£70 Recognised brands are £120-£195 each.   There seem to be better Chinese ones like CST at £80 but are they any better than the very cheap ones?   As I said I cannot find any reviews or articles on this.

What size and load rating? I'll bet there's plenty of perfectly good choices <£100.

    Single or double axle?

CST - ChengShinTire - are not "better". They're perfectly genericly budget, and primarily a bicycle tyre brand.

GT Radial are a decent midrange caravan tyre brand I believe and you can get those in that size for under £90 fitted typically.

Common van size. What's the max laden weight of the caravan?

My choice'd be £90 for the Uniroyals.
