I've just booked a flight overseas with VA for a few weeks time and was surprised there's nothing on the booking about which terminal they fly out from. Does anyone know?
And does anyone know if there's a lounge there to book??

Usually Terminal 31

3.
There are lounges available, dependent on ticket type and Flying Club status.1 -
it only says that upper class tickets get access. I'm not that posh (or rich!). We do have what might be equivalent to business class (premium?).eskbanker said:
Access to the airline's lounge shouldn't need to be booked (assuming you have the right fare/status), or are you looking for a public payable one?Brie said:And does anyone know if there's a lounge there to book??I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Yes, anything other than upper class will involve buying entry to a public lounge, they direct you towards No 1:Brie said:

VA is Virgin Australia who dont fly from HeathrowBrie said:I've just booked a flight overseas with VA for a few weeks time and was surprised there's nothing on the booking about which terminal they fly out from. Does anyone know?

VS is Virgin Atlantic fly from T3 assuming its not a codeshare
You cannot use cash to get into the VS Clubhouse, you need status or an Upper Class ticket. It is a nice lounge though and if you are flying UC you can use their drive through check in where they take your bags from the car, you do check in and security at the door and its straight up the elevator into the lounge.
T3 does have a Club Aspire and No1 Lounge that you can buy entry into or use Priority Pass or such... they're both the standard basic pay for entry lounges1 -
Its not just Virgin that dont tell you the terminal.
Ive recently booked an Easyjet holiday from Gatwick, apparently they operate in both terminals. Does the online or PDF confirmation tell you which terminal to go to? Nope. I've had to Google the answer and apparently only a certain range of flight numbers leave from the South, rest from the North.0 -
Having flown with EasyJet recently the terminal was different for outbound and return flights at Gatwick (South out, North return)la531983 said:Its not just Virgin that dont tell you the terminal.

Seems its based on flight number for departures, so yes I imagine if they need a plane at a certain terminal it may lead to the above scenario. Either than or one of the terminals closes early, I know at Manchester if a T3 flight gets in late they send them in through T1 instead.jimjames said:
