Final parking charge reminder - Bristol airport/debt collection

Hi all, 
hoping you can help! I received a reminder to pay a £170 parking charge at Bristol airport (they had apparently sent the first notice to an old address so I'm now not entitled to appeal - according to this letter from DCBL). I stopped for a minute or so to check the satnav as the parking is all over the place at Bristol airport and we were lost. I didn't realise it was a no stopping zone and was safely parked at the side of the road. It was dark, I couldn't see any signs telling me it wasn't allowed. I have been in touch with DCBL - said I was the keeper of the vehicle not the driver - and the photographic evidence doesn't show clearly that it's me. 
is this enforceable does anyone know? I've read in other forums/threads that it's not but I've just had a final reminder saying the next thing will be a county court judgment and that my next opportunity to dispute the charge will be in Court! 
It was an honest mistake, there aren't any signs on the images they've uploaded so not sure where I stand. Any help would be very gratefully received - last thing I need is having to pay court costs as well as this ridiculous £170.

POST 4 covers debt collection stage and change of address which you must do, to Parking Company and DCBL. You don't want them sending a court claim to your old address if it goes undefended it's a ccj by default.

POST 2 - Small Claim and CCJ info. Court cost IF you lost I think is around £212.

Make sure DVLA has your current address (V5C)

Send a rectification notice to the DPO of VCS and DCBL instructing them to erase your personal data and replace it with your current address for service.
Make sure you use the word I have highlighted as it has a specific meaning where data processing is concerned. 

You should also state that since you were not the driver, and since airport bylaws apply, the vehicle keeper cannot be held liable so they should cancel now to save themselves money.

Also complain to the majority shareholder landowner (Ontario Teachers Pension Plan) and their sub-contractor, (Bristol Airport Limited), and your MP.
In your complaints, state that irrespective of what the driver may or may not have done, you as keeper cannot be held liable for a non-parking event where airport bylaws apply.

Do not expect the landowner, nor BA Ltd, to be on your side, and do not expect VCS to cancel the charge, but you do need to go through the motions in case VCS decide to issue a court claim.

It is imperative that no matter what you do, you do not reveal the driver's identity.

Why not just email a version of the letter that's in the second post of the NEWBIES thread? You must have seen it when you read that thread first, and the suggested LBC reply includes the wording to 'erase all older addresses'.

Not that you have an LBC but you can easily adapt it and steal the words.

You've only got the £170 threatogram already shown in pictures in the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread, where I beg for no new threads about these threatograms. We'll drown here if people keep asking about the letters that are already in the resource thread...
