Woodford compensation and No Win No Fee fees

There is no credit account that would allow a missed payment to be reported to the CRAs, so a CCJ would need to be obtained before anything adverse could be reported there, after they take individuals to court and if they are able to win.

Others above have answered your Qs more eloquently than I could. In addition, not sure how D.Cs could hassle me personally as HP have an old phone number now out of use, and an easily disposable email addy.

The plot thickens:
"
Thank you for emailing Harcus Parker concerning the Woodford Equity Income Fund litigation.
Harcus Parker’s case file on this matter is now closed. We are no longer pursuing or accepting any payments and this email address is no longer being monitored.
Accordingly, the online payment portal is also now closed and we are no longer seeking or processing invoice payments.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Harcus Parker"

They won’t be able to wash their hands of me just yet. I submitted an ICO complaint today in relation to their incomplete response to my SAR request and my concerns about potential sharing of my personal information with third parties while transparency obligations under GDPR remained unmet. I’ll see if I manage to get any more clarity on the legality and enforceability of Augusta’s claim

smelly wellies I received the same e-mail. My holding is worth about £30. Perhaps they believe pursuing people like me are not worth it? or is it something else?

Suspect it's a cost thing. Why employ staff working on something that won't generate any revenue for you when you can pass it over and let someone else deal with it. There is a staff cost for someone handling emails and replying that could probably be used more productively elsewhere in their business.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Sorry Off topic a bit but I have my holding of LF equity income with HL and am transferring out to Charles Stanley. I did not sign up with any legal firm in the compensation claim but will I lose out on any compensation if I transfer my holding to another provider?

You will have had your "compensation" already paid into the account you held the Woodford funds in, a couple of years ago.
Unlikely to be anything else altho there is an action being taken against HL themselves ,effectively for bad advice. Can't see much mileage in that.
Not sure how you can transfer these LF equity units out as they cannot be traded as far as I can see. Will CS even accept them ?

The FCA compensation has run its course, there won’t be any other payouts from there. I don’t see any reason why transferring to a different platform would have any impact on anything relating to your WFEI holding especially if you are not pursuing other legal avenues in that regard

Thanks so no further payments are due ? So what are the options left for what is left of this fund? I have asked CS if they will can keep the LF fund with HL but considering the above there is little point in that
