Would a level 2 Survey bring up cause of concern if things were stored in the attic just on the installation?

Do you mean things are stored sitting on the loft insulation? I doubt a surveyor would be concerned about that.

But more generally, the things should be positioned so that the joists are taking the weight, rather than being between the joists.

If they're heavy things, they're probably compacting the insulation, which might make it less effective. But hopefully the insulation will puff back up  when the things are moved.

Yeah we been as careful as we can to place things over the joist.   But some of the insulation has been flattened .

So the surveyor might mention that the insulation is a bit thin. But putting down a new layer of insulation is a quick and easy job, so it shouldn't worry anyone too much.
