Gatwick PCN issued to BUSINESS

Options
Hello everyone,

I appreciate all the help I could get with the below. After reading the "newbies" post and some threads, I think I sort of know what to do but I am worried things might operate differently due to the charge being under my business. I have read the "hirer" thread, but things did not go as far as they have with myself at the moment.
I have ignored the 2 letters by NCP, after passing through Gatwick airport drop-off, with my company's hired vehicle (please see below). I understand now that I should have appealed but since the time frame for this is now closed. I believe I'll soon receive something from a debt collector which I IGNORE, from what I have gathered.
I reply once I receive a claim before court type of letter to say I don't know who the driver was etc etc. Is this right? I just don't want to mess anything up and get the business involved in unnecessary court trouble.

Thank you for everything. Sorry if there is already a case like this, I genuinely wasn't able to find company/hirer case at this stage of the process. If there is, please feel free to leave me the link below.

Ok... are you suggesting there is nothing that can be done now?
Utterly unhelpful response, to be honest.

It is helpful if it means you will come here quicker next time and not ignore a PCN that could have been cancelled with one email.

But with this one, are you the director of the company?  If yes, there is no CCJ risked as long as you come back when a LBC or claim firm is received. We'll help.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just send a formal complaint to NCP, which they are obliged to consider as an appeal according to the PPSCoP section 11.2. As This is NCP, they will fold because they know they cannot win.
    Dear NCP,

This is a formal complaint about your NtK which was addressed to my business. As the business could not possibly be the driver and you cannot hold the Keeper liable because the location of the alleged contravention is not relevant land as it is covered by byelaws, I refer you to the answer given in Arkell v Pressdram (1971).

    Yours faithfully,

You may as well mess with their heads whilst waiting for anything to actually happen that may need dealing with.
