Auto Renew Allianz/Flow Car Insurance warning

Despite having an email from Allianz on 14/2/2025 stating "Heads up - if you don't renew, you won't be covered from 17 March 2025." and also having unticked the auto-renew on their portal I was shocked to get a "Thanks for renewing with us FLOxxxxxxx" this morning. So no phone numbers have to use live chat - live chat with a person doesn't start till 0900. Where they informed me I could cancel my policy in the portal - Where it turns out it will deduct the cost of 1 day's insurance and refund the remainder 7-10 days later. All for there dodgy systems. They have since informed me that I will get the 1 days refund back as a separate payment later. What a joke - be warned.
